Bukidnon Outdoors was started by people who are passionate about four things: love for God, nature and sports, and a compassion for the under-privileged. They saw the potential that Impasug-ong, Bukidnon has in the world of Eco-Tourism and Eco-Sports. It is their dream to see that Impasug-ong reaches its full potential as a summer capital. There is so much to see in this region of Bukidnon that the site administrators want to develop and showcase. Within these pages you will see scenery and sites that are undeniably grand in their natural state but may still be used to generate income, if developed with preservation in mind, for the people in this community.
There are numerous areas in Impasug-ong that have the potential to be developed into venues for hiking, trail biking, camping, mountain climbing, cable car rides, giant water slides and the like. Events, news worthy bits-and-pieces, as well as activities that affect our little community will be chronicled here.
As you peruse the pages and blogs here, the site administrators also hope that with these ventures, an awareness for the environment and the preservation thereof will be fostered among those who will take advantage of these activities. Moreover, such undertakings will also provide badly needed jobs for the locals who live in the area, and this is what we are pushing for. We want to make a difference in the lives of the people here – a difference that will not only be a quick fix, but will also provide long-term sustenance for those who live in this community.
