The Reading Center of Capitan Bayong in Impasug-ong, Bukidnon is finally open! This project was started six (6) months ago in an effort to provide literacy materials to the people of Barangay Capitan Bayong. Below are pictures of the newly opened Reading Center.
The Center is currently taking in book donations. Magazines, audio-visual materials, old computers and DVDs are also welcome.
In the future, short-term or weekend reading and writing classes, computer literacy (including, eventually, internet connection), and movie nights for all ages are being planned at the Reading Center.
